haven't been on this site in years. i was CookieZenmilk in another life. I am not sure where that name disappeared to on this site. I used to host postcard swaps.
I recently visited a LQS to get supplies for a class i was teaching at a local senior center. One clerk excitably told the owner that I should teach the class at their shop. The shop owner put down the idea and said no one does that anymore and they never went thru the mail properly and a host of other reasons. I left all my goods on her counter and told her i would never shop there again and left the store.

Welcome back, AnneTeak. Love the new moniker! The old moniker is a good one, too.
That shop owner must have been having a tough time keeping that store up to be so negative about her worker's excitement that there was a quilting teacher in the house. So sorry that happened.
