Logcabin, isn't it amazing how much a pile of envelopes can thrill our hearts. It is such fun to have those little packages sitting and making us smile on our special day. So many envelopes arriving so quickly is just like it was in the "olden days" of the swap. Perhaps our postal system is back to it normal service time. LG, enjoy searching your mailbox as the last few arrive.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend, my friends. I have put aside my 2.5 quilt for a little while while I work on a UFO and start a baby quilt. That 2.5 quilt will for sure sneak back under my needle soon because I only have three more rows to finish. Keep stitching

LogCabin isn’t it fun when you get a bunch of envelopes at the same time

Love all the pictures, when I started quilting years ago I didn’t care for fall colors now they are a favorite. Right next to florals

I like to use fall colors because of their rich jewel tones. I don't wear them ever, but I still like to work with them. Thus, I have collected my three bins of fall fabrics, many of which have gold accents. It reminds me of those stunning fall days just before the colored leaves flutter down to decorate lawns and lakes. When the sun sparkles through between the leaves it is beautiful.

Spring is struggling to appear and stay here. It is gray and there is a chill in the air today. Warm tomorrow but by Thursday back to the 30's and winter jackets. The days of warmish weather are more frequent so, we Michiganders know spring is creeping closer.

WMUTeach mentioned I should pop in and share my Jewelled Hearts photo as it uses 2 1/2” squares, so here is the link to my post. https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...s-t327927.html

Thank you, thimblebug6000. I am pretty sure I have this patterns buried in my "saved" patterns on my laptop. I will go a searching and see if it is there or if it is online anywhere. Any one else have it? Please share it with us.

Pam love your circles- something I am not relaxed enough to do.
Julie- always like the light/ dark look. Do you use various lights? I never seem to have enough.
    WMUTEACH- great fall colors.

    Thanks for sharing.

TG, how are you doing these days? Healing and making progress back to doing some of the things that make you happy? Good to see you adding to our conversations. Slow and steady ..... wins.

Just in case you need a reason to celebrate.........Today is Crayon Day. Remember learning how to color inside the lines and how to make the colors light or dark and shiny? And the waxy smell of crayons when you opened the box. Celebrate as you wish but with color.

Well I had to search quite a way back through Macybaby’s posts but found where she originally posted the EQ8 sheet. I knew I had left out the one sashing, but I see I also left out all the pieced outside triangle settings and made mine solid.
