    Default Asparagus Recipes Please

We have a mature patch of asparagus growing and this year we have a bumper crop. Please post any good and healthy recipes for asparagus.

I love steamed asparagus! I melt butter and cream cheese together with fresh squeezed lemon juice for a wonderful sauce! I hesitated posting because I don't know how healthy it is.

Sounds yummy! You could make it healthier by exchanging the butter for vegan butter or olive oil with herbs and exchanging the cream cheese for Neufchâtel, or almond/not-fat yogurt/plant-based cream cheese.

My sister has a good size patch of asparagus but she always forgets to go out and pick it when it's ready. But, we both love to wrap a slice of bacon around the stem of asparagus, broil it for however long it takes. YUMMMMMMM! I never liked asparagus before that. Think she might sprinkle some herbs on it before placing into the broiler but have no clue what.

The sheet pan recipe is pretty much our go to for asparagus. It works well on the grill too when weather permits.

edited to add: we sometimes use crumbled feta instead of Parmesan.

I will - the tundra swans just made their annual migration through the region, and the number of sand cranes this year has been unbelievable!
(For those unfamiliar with the area, it is the major migratory bird flight path for North America)
