My fabric is off to Janice. I realize I shorted you $1 Janice. Will send it with my completed squares. $20 just wasn’t enough! DH dropped fabric off and it should arrive Friday. Emailed you the tracking number, Janice.
On another note I was unexpectedly gifted with 100 fat quarters. This is good news and bad news. The fabric is beautiful, high quality quilting fabric in beautiful colors. I was trying to reduce my stash. I’m in the process of washing it all now. It’s going to take two loads of wash. IT was fun to look at all the fabric. The salmon fish ones might go into the Alaska quilt I’m making. It was fun going through all that fabric but I’m at the stage that I don’t know if I’ll be able to use all my fabric before I die.

MJP, I am in the same small row boat. I am trying to reduce my load significantly. Folks just keep giving me more. Lovely thought that they think I can use their gems, but do they realize I will not live to 150+ years of age? Tee-Hee-Hee
I agree that the fish fabric is fabulous!

I’m another one in that rowboat of WMUTeach’s. I still have what feels like miles of yardage from my neighbor, even after having given so much to the guild members. The fabric I’m using for the boom is one of hers. I think I’ll never get through it all!
Yesterday, I bought a few plants to put around the house. Marigolds for the mailbox area, a couple of hanging pots of geraniums and a lovely gardenia at the corner of the house. I’m hoping we’re done with freezes. Fingers crossed. And our first hummingbirds showed up a couple of days ago. So cheery!

LAF, here is my latest finish and yes, the beautiful colored blocks were donated to me. I had the cream in my stash and went online hunting to find the border fabric that was from the same line as the colored blocks. All the prints are reproduction print from an 1880 quilt that is housed in a museum in Vermont. Why was it donated to me and not used? Who knows? That donation thrilled me more than any others that I have received. Most donations end up being placed in donation quilts for Project Linus.
The photo has bleached out the colors. The outside border is green not blue. Time to try a photo outside in natural light I guess.

Wow gorgeous quilt WMUT, love the reproduction fabrics
MJ what a great gift, I love the ones with the farm animals
We planned on leaving Sunday for Minnesota but bad storms are predicted for Sunday and Monday. Will leave tomorrow instead. I’ve pulled out my geraniums and other annuals I bring back and forth, sewing room is packed and next are the clothes. Sheets and towels are waiting to go in the washer. We won’t be ready to leave at 4:30 am as usual which means an extra night on the road. Hurrah! two 12 hour days of being in the car is a little overwhelming for this ole body. Dh has a lot more work to accomplish. All the outside stuff and sumerizing both golf carts as well as packing up the car. Wish us luck.

Here is my chosen fabric. I have had in my stash for ages but have no clue where it came from, I know I did not buy it. I have no intended use for it, so I figured you guys can help me put it to use, likely for a charity quilt. I have no special instructions or requests, just something that works. Thank you!
