Jenn -- those are beautiful. I love your son's comment about the most important item you've made. The love you have for your family is jumping off the page!

JENNR8R, what fun shirts and you used them so well in the quilts for Erin. The pillow must have touched the hearts of so many.

Kindness and thoughtfulness is just pouring out of your needle.

Jenn, your quilts and pillow are wonderful. What special mementos you created, especially the pillow. Precious. I understand tee shirt quilts can be challenging to make. Beautiful work.

JENNR8R, I remember seeing that pillow 2 years ago and now I'm imagining the last two years that the pillow was probably treasured every day by the recipient and now will be with him forever. The true meaning of "gift." Your talents are amazing and even if the quilts hadn't turned out so perfectly, the sentiment is there.

My school quarter has started so I'm running around crazy lately, taking one class, teaching one and them doing the my regular clinic job. But things are good. LAF mentioned decent weather around our region, yes, -ish. but now it's turning rainy so I guess that's conducive to getting school work done.
TG, I'm glad your arm is improving..... and Janice, hope things are normalizing with your husband recuperating.

Pamelor, yes, DH is almost back to normal. He’s able to drive and walk carefully on the foot with just a small brace. He isn’t yet able to take the dog for long walks but he’s feeling much better. Thank you for asking.

I’m frustrated because my sewing machine is acting up and making a noise it shouldn’t make. Normally it simply purrs. It’s been in for service but it’s no better. Ugh.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Tax Day! Remember when it was almost a party at the post office and folks waited to be the last on to drop their forms in the mail box. Balloons, suckers and confetti for those who were submitting at the very last minute. Those days are gone with everything now submitted electronically. Ah, the good old days are gone.

Lots of wild weather in the mitten last night and early this morning. Round two is on its way for late this evening. So, I am sewing up a "storm". Working on finishing another UFO. Then back to my 2.5 quilt top.

Shhhh.... someone has a birthday tomorrow. Tee-hee-hee!
