Hi
My name is Teresa Drummond and I am a new member of the Quiltingboard Forums. I began quilting when my four children were young. I did everything by hand…marking my ¼ inch, piecing the blocks/borders, the quilting, and the binding. I loved hand quilting. The hand work always relaxed me in the evenings once my kids were settled in for the night. I made each of my children their own king size quilts when they were younger. Then I got into quilt block swaps and created the Nifty Fifty Quilting 50 state quilt block exchanges. I was busy with these swaps of over 15 years. And thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Although once my children were grown I took a long break from quilting. I am glad I have reconnected with my love of quilting. I am amazed at the Quiltingboard Forums. These forums have some great information on them. A lot has changed since I was using the internet for quilting. I am looking forward to exploring more on the Forum.

Glad to have you here with us! Quilting allows us to take breaks, and message boards allow us to keep together either during those breaks or while quilting. Is nice to have people who understand our need to "cut apart perfectly good fabric".
