It's been a good day, before our rain I dug some plants that we are planning on taking with us to the new house. Then I gathered up the leftover fabric from the last 2 projects that were done with fabric that had not gone thru the laundry. The larger pieces went in the wash whole and the strips and chunks went into mesh bags. Some fraying happened but I'm fine with it, I have been pressing the fabric for the last hour and sorting as I go to get it into the proper bins. Now to do a quick sweep an mop of the floors. Then a little more pressing. Here are pictures of the last two projects, one wall hanging and one table topper.

Dedemac i love the 3 girls under the umbrella. Does it have a pattern or was it printed fabric. I'm going to redo the 4 BOM's for this year. So the whole year matches. Then make a wall hanging or table runner.

I'm in!! Sewing marathon making baby quilts for Project Linus. Have to admit I am enjoying h searching my fab for both tops and backs.
This past week I have made 5 tops and today turned one of those tops into a finished quilt.

I decided to make HST using up older fabrics and some Triangles on a Roll papers. My goal is to turn the HSTs in blocks for baby quilts to be donated. Not sure how much will get done as this is a busy weekend here.

I missed the start of this this one, but I did finished a quilt top yesterday, Boom blocks from last spring. My Saturday is full with non-quilting activities, but tomorrow afternoon I will be cutting pillow cases. One of my volunteer groups was given a donation of 50 + yards of fabrics and it was given to me to make pillow cases. I will cut and match cuffs and flanges and kit up to be sewn at my quilt retreat in a couple of weeks.

Stitch on my VQW friends. See you late Sunday afternoon with an update.

Well, DD is visiting, so we are off to nail salon this morning. I want to finish the bowl cozies. My cousin dropped by for a visit yesterday afternoon, so I am only halfway done. Next week, she is getting her knee replaced and will be recovering at my house for 2 weeks. My other cousin's bridal shower is next weekend, and I'd like to finish the quilt at my (sit down) long arm for her gift because she admired it when we were working on her bridesmaid's gifts of kitchen boas.

I have been going through my DMC embroidery threads this morning, as I enjoy my weekend coffee! My Sis has decided to start stitching again, so thought I would share some of my duplicates. Later I hope to get to the guild sew day and hope they still have room for me 😃

It is a panel from Elizabeth's studio Friends forever line. The pattern is from Spool and Bobbin Quilting her Aurora quilt pattern. I do design testing for Spool and Bobbin and this one will be at the H & H Americas trade show next month. My first project that was only 1 week from cut to finish. A friend in the area quilted for us.

It’s been a good day so far. The weather is a bit cool but I have doors and windows open. I finished putting borders on my quilt and pin basted 2 quilts ready to mark and quilt. Do need to buy a piece for binding. That will wait until Monday when Hobby Lobby has their fabric on sale.

Church donation quilt is done, dinner is in the oven. It's too cold and windy to work outside so time to clean and look for UFO's. Nice projects happening today, I like the pictures so far.
