Thanks AprilM. The quilting is just a swirly meander with hearts. The fabric was a Moda line called Chez Moi from 2013 and I used a Jelly Roll. I think the pattern was a free Moda Jelly Roll pattern. I am still trying to find it in my file. If and when I unearth the pattern, I'll post it. Wish me luck. I remember it went together quickly.

Hi All!

Just popping in to say that Puffins Aloft is officially finished, bound, and labelled

I have also today collected Harvest Gatherings and my Cream/Green Sampler from the longarmer, so need to get on with binding and labelling those, but I feel that a lot of progress has been made since the start of the year!

I am struggling with photos, but will give it some proper attention once the latest two are bound (I love binding! )

Keep going everyone!!!

Happy Quilting

Keep after the photos. We are UFO folks are ready to celebrate your Puffins and the Harvest Gathering with you. Oh and the Cream and Green Sampler too. Yea for you and your determination to "git'er done" this year.

Taking a break from UFOs for tjhe next 2 months. Local hospitals are begging for baby quilts so making tiny quilts. Minimum size is 36x36 so go together a little quicker.

Panchita - cant wait to see the PUFFINS!!!

i hear ya about struggling with the photos. My problem was that mine are too big as is so i always get the file size too large warning when i try to attach them as is. I have been unsuccessful so far in being able to reduce the size/resolution at the camera end. Im sure there is something i dont know. My work around is to email myself the photos i want to use and cut down the size before i send them - after i receive the email then i save the emailed photos to my photo gallery again. Its kind of a pain, but it works most of the time to cut down the file size. Dont know if this might help you or not, but thats what i do.

AprilM, I automatically take my photos into "Photo", crop what I don't want, change the lighting if necessary, save it with a new name, then take it back into "PHoto" and click on the 3 dots at the end of the choices at the top left. A screen will drop down and they have a "resize" option. I resize moving the lever if needed though if you look farther down, it will show you what the actual size is and what it could be and if it's still not under 1.0, then I move the lever to the left until it gets to the size I'm comfortable with. When pull up the photo, I right click so a screen ups up with choices for you to click on to alter your photo. "Photo" is usually down the row of choices so it's free with Windows.
