    Default Sunbonnet Sue

This is the first of 2. Someone brought in donated blocks to be finished for charity. I got this first completed. Still needs washing. I had not quite enough muslin for the back so I added a strip of the border fabric. This finished off all fabrics used on this quilt. The next one has 16 Sue blocks (all the same as these)and is ready to mark and get quilted .

Your quilting is so neat. The little girl reminds me of a Dutch girl with wooden shoes. I have some old squares a friend found at a thrift shop that I need to finish. Right now I’m finishing Playing Scales quilt. Good job !

Nice finish! I have a super soft spot for Sunbonnet Sue. I love the way you quilted it, too.

I think some little girl will love the quilt. It is cute. I also like the backing. IMO, I think a pieced backing like that adds interest to a quilt.

    Cheers,
    Shari
