Has anyone made the "Double Dash" quilt pattern from Cotton and Joy?
I was hoping for reviews or feedback, especially about what looks like some very tiny seams (where you insert the white or background strips inside the blocks to make it look like it's been carved up).

i just looked at the pattern. If one was using a layer cake, each 10 inch square would be cut into one 5 inch square, four 2.5 inch squares, and four 2.5x5 inch rectangles. At that point, you could choose whatever sized sashing you wanted, but
i would go with 1.5 inches wide. It's relatively easy to handle.
My biggest concern would be which way to press the seams so that they would nest with the next block.

I have not but in these instances, I add an additional .25" to the cut width of the sashing, sew one side, trim the sashing width down to what it should be at that point in the construction process, sew the remaining side.
I'm also guessing there are some strip sets involved in making this which makes things a bit easier and more accurate (IMO).
