Years ago I posted some things, and this forum is a wealth of information. This time I thought I would introduce myself. I live near Lansing Michigan. I have quilted for a number of years and collected vintage sewing machines. I am now seeking to downsize things so trying to use up my stash.
I have LOTS of quilt tops that need to be made into quilts and am slowly learning the ins and outs of my long arm machine that I have had a while but was a bit intimidated.

Welcome! So glad you found us again. We have had quite a few people from Michigan here and still do. My husband is from Grand Rapids.
I am likewise in a learning phase of turning a ton of tops into completed quilts into long armed quilts. I bought a new-to-me non-computerized setup and am just now getting it set up.
Some people have a fairly easy time getting to post pictures here, others of us have some struggles. I hope you will post pictures of your projects to help spur me on

Welcome back and I can relate to your delimna. I have lots of fabric stash and am about done making quilts for folks I know so now I'm thinking of making quilts for quilt auctions that are run ever 2 years. As to your long arm, I backed off mine for nearly 2 years due to an OOPS and it pushed me back from using it again. But now I'm back at it and enjoying myself.
Hope you show us all your quilts as you get them done as I can always use some ideas to use up my stash. I mostly love making scrappy quilts, even controlled scrappy quilt so any ideas you have, patterns, etc, will be greatly appreciated by all of us, not just me.
I do have an announcement to make. I gave 2 of my quilts to the quilt auction back in April. The Exploding Hearts and the Rick Rack with a pillowcase to go with it. They came in at $600 and $800 respectively so I'm quite happy. They were able to make $73,000 for their organization that houses diabled folks here in my town. They also have one of the best thrift shops that my sister and I go to every couple weeks. So I'm very happy for them with the outcome of their latest auction.
