My first BOOM block and it’s for me, which somehow made it even more fun. It made my heart happy making this block for Judy.

I spent yesterday planning, printing foundation papers, and cutting fabric for 19 blocks. Honestly, by the time I finish prep work, I feel like I’ve already completed a quilt. 😂 That part is definitely the most time-consuming for me.

I’m loving all the blocks everyone is posting, and I am so thankful for every single block made for me. They are absolutely gorgeous. This group is overflowing with talent and creativity, and my sewing room is currently covered in fabric confetti.

Can’t wait to keep stitching along with all of you!

Since baby Mia already has the 3 Winnie the Pooh quilts I made her I’m thinking of something simple. Maybe make the fabric like a panel and add small squares around it then a border of the Pooh fabric or just make a square in the square. Plan is to showcase the fun Pooh fabric

It’s supposed to be very warm here today, followed by thunderstorms and falling temps. My garden is screaming at me to get in there and take care of all the winter kill. Sure hope the storm doesn’t bet down my fern peony that is almost ready to bloom.
