I started out by making pinwheels all the same color in each block. My daughter didn't really like that. I have an Accuquilt Go and I had cut out several 6 1/2" triangles for the pinwheel blocks. When she said that she would rather have it all random, I said "No problem, I will just cut all of the triangles in half and sew them back together". What in the world was I thinking. I had two 6 1/2" blocks together, one white and one color, and I cut all of them on the diagonal mixed them up and put them together. She called today to tell me that she loved the quilting design that I used. I think she was well pleased with her birthday present.

The question about my longarm----I have an APQS milli with an Intelliquilter computer on it. (My retirement present to myself). I love it.

Oh, I forgot to say that I started cutting out my next quilt today. Again using the Accuquilt Go. I think I only need 380 pieces (3 1/2" by 6 1/2"). I am using the leftover fabric from this quilt.

Nice... :D Traditional and contemporary at the same time. She'll use this for a long time.
