I haven't got a light box so I tape it up to a bright window! Free, natural lightbox. :-D This is a great tip - could be used for tracing quilting designs to sew through, I guess - I wonder how it would tear away? Have to try it! Also, my freezer paper (Reynolds) is good for several uses - I save all my little appliqué templates and reuse them again and again. :-D
I also used to tape things up on the window ....but now we don't have to because it really is very transparent after ironing it...I have also sewed thru it ...I think it would tear away easily. but wonder if the paper dulls the needle??....hugs SG

Yes it would dull the needle - I do Paper Piecing and save older needles especially for that.

Another use for freezer paper. In order to hide new purchases, wrap your fabric in freezer paper and put it in the freezer!

Won't work for me. My husband and his mother both are always in the freezer. Have to have their ice cream fix!!!! I have a split foyer and in my sewing room there is a large area under the stairs, so that is where my boxes!!!!!! are stored. He doesn't go under there. Probably afraid he will get lost in my sewing room.

I just bought $357 worth of fabric. How much freezer paper to I need to wrap the fabric? Got any room in your freezer?
