I am with members of my guild making quilts for our charity project. We ran a Give a Day, Get a Day through Disney Parks and we now have over 50 quilts and as many tops to finish. It was a very successful project.

Ahhh sending speedy recovery wishs your way.
Lets see to honor the day, went to the local craft store w/ my 25% off coupon got a new template, spent 50.00 on fabric, started working again on a current ufo pile and visited w/ a new quilty friend...and the days not over with.

Quilter7X,

The picture on your site, is the quilt pattern I would like to have.
Do you have the pattern or what is the name of the pattern and where can I find one? I would like to put this in the middle of the quilt I want to make for my fifteen year old grand daughter.

Didn't realize there was a National Quilt Day. I have had my 9 yrs. old grand daughter with me this week and have been sewing for her and finishing up on my March Doll Quilt. Mailed it today. Took my grand daughter to the movie (The Wimpy Kid Diary) and then came back home to make pies and a casserole to take to church pitch-in tomorrow. Now need to fix supper and finish one of the dresses I am making for the grand daughter, so she can wear it to church tomorrow. Busy day, but a good one.

i went to a LQS and bought some yardage for a quilt that i'm making for my husband(surprise). i left him at the coffee shop down the block. i took him in that store one other time with less than happy results. we also went out for lunch and test drove a used CRV for my daughter. not what i had planned, but better than yesterday. (had a kitty funeral)

Fininshed a baby quilt for nephew's new daughter. Now to start quilting another quilt, work on some blocks for swaps, or what ever strikes my fancy, DH is at work, nothing but quilting time for me. Was going to go buy a new sewing machine, but the snow kept me home today, thought it was the first day of spring LOL
