So inspiring to see so many scraps turned to beauty. Here are 3 of my scrap quilts. One I made for my husband's 50th BD, the string quilt for my couch and the tumbler block for the children's hospital project.

Wow! This has been more fun than a trip to a quilt museum! I love all these scrappy quilts.
Makes me think of our prairie fore-mothers and their lives long ago.
I especially enjoyed the picture with the bare feet, that's me all over! Can NOT sew with shoes on! hahaha

SaraSewing: please what is the name of this pattern and where can we get one? Thanks
Here are the instructions. It's basically cut 2 1/2 inch strips of both light and dark.

Then cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares and 4 1/2 inch bars.

Sew a light to a dark, and dark to light, over and over.

Then sew them into units, using both light and dark.

It's super easy, fast and fun.
Thanks for sharing, can't wait to get started

I have made some. I really like them, but I have a problem just putting things together the way they say you should. I tend to want to "coordinate" colors and designs.
Wow,

What is the name of that pattern? I love it!

Karen ]

It is the Star Struck pattern by Bonnie Hunter found here.

www.quiltville.com

I am also working on a Star Struck quilt. I work on it when I feel like piecing but not currently working on anything.
