I'm working on Week 12..I have 1.5 blocks done. Can I just say it out loud...I think this week's triangle, is...well, to be blunt, rather ugly. You guys are doing a good job with it, but I really don't like it at all. I have not felt that way about any of the blocks so far...but this one is in a league of it's own. Anyone else???

I'm with you Leslie! I thought I had it colored in with my red, white and blue, then saw everyone elses triangle and thought, back to the drawing board. It will be OK. But I think after I get the top of it pieced, I will also applique it on. I never thought I would be choosing applique as an easier way of piecing! I should have mine done by tonight.

Well, I'm finished with this weeks except for the hand applique...I'll do that in a few minutes while I watch Amazing Race. Well...I did the tri Rachel and I took it to show DH and he just shook his head...lots of issues with it on top of a just not very attractive design. I did PP the whole thing, but ended up with that dreaded Y seam which I handled terribly. You'll see when I post pics in the morning.

Have you looked ahead to next week??? I've already done C8..easy...but a couple of the others look really hairy to me!! :shock:

Umm, yeah hairy is the polite version. I'm trying to do L-10 as we speak...give yourself some time on that one!!!

Guess what I did??? I just put a plain piece of fabric on top of the triangle and left it at that. I'm sick of crappy looking blocks. I figured I can quilt a design on it or something. I'll post photos later. I'm caught up now thru week 12 - woo hoo!!
