My DD goes to school at Indiana University in Bloomington. There really is only one LQS in town. It has a so-so selection of fabrics. There is a really great store in Greenwood near Indianapolis about an hour away. It is really worth the drive.
I make a point of stopping everytime I go see my DD. I wish she wasn't graduating in May. I will have to make a special trip down to Indy (2 hours away from home).

Bloomington is a really great town with lots of resturants and things to see and do. The campus is beautiful especially this time of year. The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. Too nice to sit in a closed in hotel room. You can always quilt when you get home.

Enjoy Bloomington!!!!!!!!! :D

I vote for the LQS idea. You never know what you will find. Have a blast and tell your wife she is a very brave woman.

Where would you plug in your machine? Other than that question, I would definitely take things to work on - I always have something in my car - just in case!

I am a Libra, I would take my machine and the explore the local quilt shops. You have the best of both options then! Enjoy your weekend.

Both sound like fun
