Your Iris wall hanging is absolutely beautiful! Whenever I see one in the pattern books I think I might attempt it. I love your addition of the third iris. Rather than discourage me because your's is so beautiful, you have enlightened me. Perhaps I will try one.

WHAT A GORGEOUS JOB ....I just love stained glass wallhangings. Your batiks were so complimentary to the whole s"stained glass look". Gosh, it is just beautiful to look at. Thank you for sharing it and inspiring me to attempt to do my kit I have in my "stash". CarolSLC

    This is beautiful!
Why did you topstitch the tape down? Just curious. I will look for this book as I have always wanted to do a stained glass project..

While the bias tape is fused to the top, it's not truly a permanent fusing because the bias is so thin (1/8"). If I tried I could peel it back off. So I top stitched it down after fusing it. The fusing was really just to hold it in place while I stitched it down.

OMGOSH! What a great wall hanging! I love stain glass , where I grew up, we had three stain glass windows. My grandparents had them put in when the house was built! I loved seeing the sun shine through them and make patterns on the floor, walls and ceiling. Just lovely!!
