how did you quilt it? By hand or by machine? Great job on it. How hard were the directions to follow for it?

.....and boy was it worth it!!! This is a gorgeous quilt. I saw this pattern done in a quilt at one of my LQS and fell in love with the pattern and bought the book. However, I have not attempted this quilt yet!

The directions are really simple. She has you cut the squares and logs first. Then you sew the blocks. I chain pieced five blocks at a time. Which help make it go a little bit faster.
The only quilting on it right now is stitched in the ditch by machine. I plan on going back and trying to hand quilt it.
