here is the first quilt i ever made....aunt sukey's choice..saw it on the cover of a magazine. i did change it a little--there's courthouse steps in the centers......it was all done by hand--there weren't any fancy gadgets then. it just makes me shudder to think of all that TIME spent! and hand quilted,too....amazing accomplishment for me! now i see what drove me to making scrappies.....!
