Thanks Ninnie. Ireland opend our airports this morning, but not to the UK, because they are still closed until at least 1 am in the morning. It is going to depend a lot on which way the wind in the upper atmosphere is blowing. With a bit of luck, the US post comes directly here, and not via the UK. I'll let you know when it gets here, my fabric for the border arrived yesterday

LOL, Elle, my marbles are the only thing I know where they are. It's everything else I worry about! LOL

I'm only one day late, so hopefully I will be forgiven :)

Here are the pictures of Lacelady's centre with the border I added. I had a hard time taking good pictures because the top is now just a bit wider than our queen-sized bed! You're going to have a HUGE quilt when it's done, Lesley! I really hope the pictures at least give you an idea of the effect I was going for.

The stars are machine-pieced and the butterflies in the four corners are fusible-web and then hand-appliqued, with a little touch of hand embroidery on each. I really hope Lesley likes the results!

It is all packaged up and ready to go to Colletta - I'm going to be at a quilting class held by our guild all day tomorrow, but I'm going to do my best to duck out of class for 10 minutes and run to the post office to get this sent.

Cheers,
Jan

How clever of you to notice that!
I had to go back to check and see if the one I did had butterflies (I am usually odd man out <g>), and by golly! You were correct! Right there on the corner picture ... blue and white print with a butterfly ... almost like there was a Master planner, eh? <g> <wave>
