Wow! Am I the only nightowl? Right now its because I babysit at my daughters until 11:30pm and don't get home till midnight. Then I need to unwind. The last 4 nites bed time has been 2-3am......I'm up again at 10am and do it all over again. I clean here, run there and do what I can. Feel like a dog chasing his tail sometimes, but when I did work in the factory I was on 2nd shift so it just seems like I'm reliving that lifestyle.

I am up every morning that I have both sets of twins and the oldest granddaughter that I get off to school by 4 AM. I want that 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee before all the 'action' starts.
When I don't have grandchildren and can sleep in...guess what?
I am awake at 5 am and can't go back to sleep.
So for the next couple days, I am going to be heming 9 pairs of uniform pants and attempt to hem 9 pairs of curtains for my son's home for his girls bedrooms. UGGGGH ... would rather be in my sewing room that I tore up last week.
TOO MUCH TO DO... NOT ENOUGH TIME!
I will get it done soon.
Oh and I spend alot of time on this board...LOL

DH, who works 35 miles away and carpools, has to be at work by 6:00 a.m. So we get up at 4:30 each morning. I'm ready for lunch by 10:00 and wish I could take a nap by 11:00. No naps in this house, so bedtime is 10:00 p.m. or so.
But I must say, I do enjoy my "ME TIME" at 5 a.m. I usually check my mail, update my blog, and look at this quilting board.

After retiring I thought I would sleep late. Three times a week I get up at 6am the rest of the week it's 6:30 or 7. This morning I was up at 4:50 to do a morning run. I realized how much I missed getting up early. I like the morning quiet time to read the Bible and just have time to myself. I am a morning person and DH is a night owl.

I love getting up early in the day. I use to just waste my time on the computer. Now I check out the news etc. on computer and go sew. I am getting a lot done early in day so if something comes up and i cant get back to my sewing I dont feel so bad.
Now that warmer weather is here it might all change. I love sitting out on the porch and watch everthing wake up.

Early morning sewing isn't a good idea here as my sewing room is above our bedroom, last time I did DH kept dreaming a train was coming at him. Guess the sewing machine was making too much noise, LOL!

Spent my early awake time with tea and toast, watched a little TV, fell asleep during one of those loooong commerical breaks and after I finish my cup of coffee I'll be ready to go and sew. May
never will understand why babies love to sleep even with the sewing machine running full blast but some grown men... who by the way can fall sleep peacefully with the wrestling channel blaring.....?
