I've gone every year for the past 8 or so. I will get a big red ribbon for my purse. I love this board. Just found it a couple weeks ago and can't stay off it.

4 of us going and can't wait. It's great. We always have such fun. See you there, quilters!! :D :D

We're also leaving Wednesday morning. Stopping at Ft. Knox to play with our 4 month old granddaughter for a few hours and then heading on to Kentucky Dam Village to stay. I'll hit the expo bright and early Thursday morning! I'm so excited, this is my first time there! Of course, seeing the baby again is exciting, too!! We're about 4 hours or so driving time.

My husband is being a butthead, yes i said butthead. I want to leave on Thursday and stay an extra night, but oh nooooo, he doesn't want to pay for another night. I looked it up, only $60.

If he doesn't change his mind, I might have to pull out the pouty face and whine. If that doesn't work, then I guess I will do like our kids used to with him (he's a big pushover) and cry! Lmao

BUT really, he is being a pain. UGH!

Anywho, I can't WAIT! I have to remember to get a bow.

My husband, 16-yr old grandson and I visited Paducah Quilt Museum early March 2010 - ran into a local quilter and husband whom I had never met before and who lives about 20 miles from us - small world. Ran into her again about 4 weeks later at one of our local quilt shops. Anyway - the Quilt Museum was fabulous. I am not an advanced quilter by any means - still enjoy beginner patterns - I just love to make quilts. The artistry and talent displayed was beyond belief. I equally enjoyed the "antique" quilts and could feel the love and energy that went into each one. Enjoy!!! Be sure to go around it at least twice may be three times before leaving - so much to see and take in.

16 yr old special needs grandson lives with us and is an artist. His art is his "medication". He was in wonder at the art on display done in material and came away with so many ideas for portfolio just looking at the displays.
