    1.Go ahead and overcast. I do it frequently.

    2. Yes, yiu can send cash if you want.

    3. as long as the FQ measures 18 X 22 it doesn't matter.

    So if my fabric measures only 40 inches wide, I need to cut it 22 x 18 and have an 18 x 18 piece left over, instead of dividing it in half and getting two 20 x 18 pieces?

    Unfortunately, yes. A fat quarter is 18 X 22 and if we used odd-sized material then some people would get shorted a little bit of material and that's not the goal of the swap. I want to be fair to everyone,
