She is beautiful reminds me of my mother, sewing with babies on her lap. Good memories. Take good care of her. Theresse

She's terrific. Just hemmed up a pair of curtains. Can't wait to start a quilt on her sometime.

Like you I am a new mom/friend to one sassy shiny black featherweight. I named mine Elvira, it so fits her. I waited a very long time, did a lot of window shopping an finally took the plunge, and can't wait to take her for a long run. We have only been playing a little, but her work is beautiful.

Funny, I just bought my Featherweight 221-1 yesterday. I decided to name her Miss Emma. I love sewing on her.

Oh, I like the name Elvira. I just might have to copy that name. Or maybe Morticia. Hmmm, something to ponder. Keep looking ladies, she was worth the wait. Now I'm on the lookout for the different feet/attachments.

Nice. I got one off eBay and I ordered extra bobbins and haven't tryed it yet either. But I will soon. They are so sweet to take to quilting classes small and light weight.
Have fun with it.

That machine is beautiful. I have one just like it. It was my mothers. She treasured hers till the day she passed away. So now I have and it is still treasured.
