And your colours are gorgeous.

I am interested to know how long it took you. I have just started my GG journey and wonder how long I should set aside for this. I am using all Civil War fabrics on a light beige/grey background.

Yes, I did. I made sure that I did because while I was making it, I thought that I will never finish it and decided that I may as well label it in case I don't complete another one. LOL! Thanks for looking at my quilt.

Thank you. It took me ten months to complete it; I had to put it aside when I was feeling frustrated fitting it into my Brother PC6500; when I travel, and during the holidays. But I kept at it and I was so happy when I finished it. I enjoyed selecting the colors and played with a lot of color combination. I think the phases I enjoyed the most were the planning of the design, selecting the fabrics and the color combination. Have fun on your GG journey! I am having great fun on mine. Cheers!

Absolutely beautiful ! May I ask how you did the swirl blocks ? I have never seen a swirled block like that before . I love hexy quilts . Annie
