what did you use to fuse the pattern onto the blocks and do you use just a small amount of fusible interfacing around the edges of the pattern?

Thanks, y'all. This quilt is a lot of fun to work on, I'm really enjoying it. :)

Junie, I'm using Shades SoftFuse to fuse the shapes to the blocks. I'm using fusible on the full size of the shape, not just around the edges. The Shades is a very light weight fusible and almost feels non-existent when fused. I really like it and buy it in multi-yard rolls.

I used various fabrics from my stash and also have been on the lookout for fabrics that have a "Morris" look to them. When looking through the book at the close-up photos, you begin to get an idea of the style of fabrics and generally the ones I use are 1800s style fabrics.

I'm doing a machine blanket stitch to secure the edges. I set my machine to the smallest width and length of a blanket stitch to make it as small as possible.

I am a true Morris-addict, LOL! :) I can't get enough of looking at things he designed, he truly was a genius/artist.
