When we use it, which isn't often here in Maine, I keep it at 69.

Dang, woman! 75 degrees IS hot! That was my problem when we visited our relatives in the south. They all had their thermostats set at 77 and such. I keep mine set at 71 or lower, depending on how cold it is outside. I do so love living in the Pacific Northwest!

78 and when outside hits 80, I turn it off.

80 too expensive to run it. Often we have it off but try to get air to move by opening up all windows or turning on the whole house fan.

74 for us. DH likes it cool for sleeping, as do I. The sewing room which is in the lower level, we have a bi-level, gets so chilly that I have to put on a lightweight sweater when I'm working. Seems like a waste of electricity; however, it gets sooooooo warm upstairs that 74 is perfect. Also our fur baby likes it cooler.

We keep it at 78 in the summer and 68 in the winter. We have an african gray parrot that needs more tropical temps. We even have a device that will call our cell phones if the temperature in the house falls below 60 degrees (in case we are not home). It seems like now that the kids are gone, our cat and bird run the show now. LOL.

We dont have any air conditioning and with the heat going to be in the 90's and these blessed hot flashes Iam gonna be in trouble!!!!

In the middle of days and days and days of 100+, the A/C failed and will be staying that way. It's close to 8k to replace it and it's just not worth it. The property will be going on the market and the land is more valuable than the house.

We keep our home at 67 degrees year round, we like it cool for sleeping. If we get chilly sitting around and relaxing...we snuggle up in a quilt.
