Remember how everyone complained about the cold and snowstorms last winter? I definitely prefer that to the heat and humidity. I can put more clothing on...can only take off so much :)))

Y'all come on down to Florida. It may not be any cooler here, but at least everything is air conditioned!

was out at 2 a.m. for pooch to potty and my glasses steamed up when I stepped out of the house. The humidity has been unbelievable. I used to live in Houston and this is worse.

It's only 108-112 degrees with 55% plus humidity, 3,000 foot tall walls of dust storms, called Haboo's and only one thunderstorm storm all summer. The blowing dust becomes trapped inthe tile roofs and when a breeze blows the trapped dust sticks to you. A few weeks ago we had wild fires that burned 6000,000 acres.

It's been over 100 for about 40 days now. We are also in a terrible drought. The worst drought since the 50's. I can't wait for October!!

Here in central IN it was 96 when I came home from having lunch with friends. I feel as house-bound as I did in the winter. So very tired of this weather pattern...and we really need some rain!

Hitting high 90's and low 100's the last few weeks. We got a couple of scattered showers last week but not nearly enough. I noticed coming to work this morning that trees are already drooping like they usually do in mid-August. Thank goodness for air conditioning but I may have to take a second job to pay the light bill!

well, west texas here, you wouldn't believe 113 one day for the high so far this summer, haven't had any rain since labor day of 2010. at least we don't have any humidity, or mosquitos, our lakes and ponds are drying up, we are running out of water. yards are brown, shrubs and trees are dieing all over town, it's really just terrible. but on the brighter side, i do have central a/c, we would die without it here. it's only 99 today. we are not allowed to wash our car or rinse off our driveway. yall pray for rain for us or else we might have to move up there with yall. lol.
