So many of the adult readers today grew up learning to read with Dick and Jane! Unfortunately, they are no longer "acceptable" for teaching reading these days.

Dick and Jane.....Lordy, lordy, I was so sick of the double words and their way too simple activities by January 1951!! I longed for more adventure. :-D

See Sweetpeaches quilt. Look it is pretty! Run, Sweetpeaches, run to the LQS to get more fabric to make another quilt.
