I always thought that they needed something to sink their claws in as they are "horking" - that's why they do it on the couch, carpet, etc. instead of the bare floor. Or maybe they are just brats!! Thanks for the kind words about my quilt. My lovely avatar is my Shetland Sheepdog, Ocean. and you are right! They do match - they even both have blue eyes!! Can you tell I'm a quilter?? I even have matching pets!!

Ah yes, I didn't even think of a Sheltie. They are such smart dogs! I guess I was imagining Ocean bigger than real life.
How about that: Your design sensibilities carried over into matching pets. LOL! Your cats are beautiful too - is the one a ragdoll? I'm playing guess a breed today it seems. We have all little brown terriers. I wonder what that says about the two brown toned quilts I have made? .... :wink:
