Looks really nice with the boarders on it. I love all the quilts featured in this post. Everyone did such a lovely job. Hats off to all of you.

My doggy fabric came! I've got it hung up so the creases drop out (you're not supposed to wash fabric for OBWs!) then I can start cutting! Woohoo! Here it is!

Wow am so amazed at what you all do with piecing . I am just blown away. Here I sit and think I really accomplish something when I embroider my blocks on the emb machine and throw them together. If only I had half the talent you all do .I would have never thought a print like that would look soo different in a quilt.

Cassie, thank you for the kind words but using this technique, it's really NOT that hard, I mean it! Because the pattern is so 'busy' it hides a multitude of sins. :D

I think this has to be free motioned, just too much going on to waste time hand quilting............... A nice open meander will do it!! :D

K3n your quilt top turned out beautifully! I don't often envy a quilt because I know I don't have the endurance to make one. I have never cared much for the whack and stack method because to me it isn't as soft looking as the dresdens.
BUT I love yours and it makes me wish I had the time and patience to make one! I get too antzy even when completing the hotpads. I am ready to move on to something new before I even get done with one!

But your pansies are fantastic! I love how you did the squares in the corners! If I am going to ever get one I will probably have to buy one from someone!!
Oh well I can dream about making one!

Can't wait to see the next one!

I had thought of that, although I can't drop my dogs so it would have to be a REALLY gentle meander. I've never done it before though, so I thought I'd try on a practice sandwich first. You're right, hand quilting would be lost! Maybe I'll hand quilt on the red border and I had thought of outlining the pansies on the outer border.
