Wow, great quilt! The real Jane quilt lives near me at the Bennington VT museum and I visited it again last fall. I stood in front of it the way one might stand in a holy place, trying to take in all the amazing blocks. All I could think was that I would never attempt to make it. But you have done a wonderful job recreating Jane's design and adding your own personal touches as well. Congratulations! The quilting will be the icing on a wonderful cake.

I have nothing beyond what others have said, except that this quilt truly tells a story. Each block is an inspiration. I can't stop looking at it.

I absolutely love you color scheme. glad you got it done. I have one row and a row of tri's to finish hand quilting then I am going to attach the scallops on my DJ. yes, I know, I think I did it partly backwards, but it works for me. this is my 2nd jane, and it has taken me almost 1.5 yrs to quilt. I purposely went slower and took more time.

I really like the way the solids look with the blocks. I think much better visually.

Oh my. This one took my breath away. I don't think I'd have the courage to even attempt it.

Living in a quilter’s free environment your feedback means so much to me.
To explain the Dear Jane “blanket” to non quilters I said that this is the Mt. Everest without oxygen among the quilts. Lol. And I think that this explains it pretty well. Of course you need good equipment and experience but all the rest is dedication and not giving up…………..

I hope to see many more DJ on this board.
