    ok this is it[ATTACH=CONFIG]512226[/ATTACH]. I need to do one more block to finish this row then I can go to upper ocean lower sky (only a couple rows).. this I need some water type fabric for so lucky me I have a few days to go pick some up to cut and cut and then sew and sew again

    [ATTACH=CONFIG]512227[/ATTACH] from another angle. I wish I had more light fabric to chose from! it will serve its purpose I think and its a learning experience I don't mind doing

    That's beautiful Linda. I like how you did it in blocks, but, when put together, it won't look like that. I really like the colors you've used so far.

    Thanks for sharing the process, I can see now how the beautiful quilts that look like paintings can be done by rows. I love your colors so far. I wish I had some stash... Hmmm, it is National Craft month, I bet a lot of sales are coming my way. :-)

    Elizabrat we were on the same wave length. I was cutting my sky strips this afternoon and mine are very similar to yours but I'm going to go with a winter theme. Love yours

    Elisabrat, that's beautiful! I had no idea what you meant until I saw the photos! Now I'm more confused than ever. Hmmmm .... I was thinking of doing something very simple & traditional, but .... I have to rethink this (maybe).

    Elizabrat, I really like your rows. The colors are great.

    I just got my batiks in the mail today so I can start my sky, but in the meantime I have finished the two paper pieced eagles that will go in the sky.
