I'm planning that too. I've got 60 washed and cut out.
Hubby is taking me out to dinner tonite and tomorrow
night, so won't get started on the sewing until Monday.
Should go quickly tho. Have a hunch I'd better cut out
more though. LOL.

On another thread I read that it some people bothered if they get wallmart fabrics in return. Here is the thread:http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36435-8.htm#801105
And I wrote this, so if you want to use your Wallmart fabs, it's ok by me. :)

You can make blocks from your scraps. My fabrics are from my lqs but if anyone want to use some wallmart fabrics I don't care at all.

What I ask for is that you make your swap blocks with love. Even if your quiltwork isn't so beautiful( i'm not a good quilter also) it doesn't matter to me. The only thing I care about is that people wants to make u a block and send it for you. Every block that will fall on my doormat will give me a big smile on my face.

Taking care for each other, I think thats what swapping really means.

I have a question - Does the white have to be a plain white or can it be a white on white pattern?

Would it be possible for everyone to be their Board Name on the block also?? Maybe on the same line as their "real" name??? It would mean so much more to me as even when I do know who you "really" are, in my mind you are still "your Board Name". Does that make sense to anyone but me???

Sewjoyce - NorBana has already included board names with real names - page 3 - you must have missed it.

I've got 18 blocks ready and 18 more cut and ready to piece. I wanted to get some more white fabric and wouldn't you know there was none at the store. I like the Kona Cotton white and they had ever color but that one where I went. The store is being remodeled next week and they are not putting out any new stock.
I might try to get to Jackman's sometime tomorrow but my Cherokee is going in the shop at 8 am sharp for a recall plus it's snowing here, again.
