I have store-bought on the bed because I share with a constantly shedding dog and two cats. It gets washed frequently. But on occasion, actually quite often, I put one of my quilts or one of my 30's auction quilts on the bed. I take it off before going to bed and fold it over the quilt stand. Two of the three animals are getting quite elderly, so when they cross the Bridge, I don't plan on getting more. I don't want them to outlive me and I'm no spring chicken myself...lol.
