I found this idea on this board somewhere, the pattern was to complacated for me so I just chose a block that fit my needs and used it. Any block will do as long as it is about the size of a mouse pad. I am not able to send pictures as my scanner is dead. When my friend comes home I will have her help me and use her scanner. Really any square will do and they really are cute.

So to make a mouse pad you just use a padded quilt square that is pieced??????

Welcome to the QB! The tute page is the Tutorials section, either the fifth or sixth section in the list under Quilting Forum.

Here in Uk I saw somebody had made the Squareas for these using scraps of rectangles. I have not sorted out the pattern in my head it works. When I do will send to you. They also join beautifully into quilts runners etc. Found best to hand stitch together.
PS when i made a mistake I used it as my pig and my practise for free motion quilting. coasters. ..
