Cheryl: It was well worth the wait. Those squares are beautiful. Martina is going to be thrilled. The embroidery just adds such a special touch. You did well. I'm glad you are feeling better. Strep is nothing to mess with. You just have to lie down and rest.

YOu did an excellent job. :)

I received the horses quilt a couple of weeks ago and started working on it. I am not sure I really like what I have tried so I stopped for a few days to see how I feel about it on Monday.

Hope everyone else is doing well. We do have a deadline coming up in just over 2 weeks. I have high hope to be ready on time this time.

It is okay to post 'in-progress pictures'.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend

Hi to all! Gwyn - I would say it is ok to post "in-progress pictures" as that is what I plan to do this weekend. My goal is to get 3 blocks done between today and tomorrow. I have my fabric and patterns picked out. You guys yell at me if I don't post pics by tomorrow night!!!

Have a safe Memorial Day Weekend! Barbacue on!

Thanks. This is a fun way to build a quilt. One nice thing is being able to think about what you might like to do and get your fabrics together while waiting your turn,

"Winter" is turning out to be unmotivating. I want sun and warmth so thinking of mittens is......pushed in the back part of the brain. lol

I guess I better take a look through my binders to see what wintery patterns may be lurking.

    Think - think - think!

Well ladies, I had hoped to get 3 squares finished this weekend and I did not get that accomplished. I work the next two days so will have to set some new goals. Hope everyone has a safe Memorial holiday. Had my cookout with family today, it was great! Looking forward to seeing everyones pics when I get a chance later this week.
