okay brain dead here I looked at the directions but I have to blind how wide are the strips ---- I tried to figure them out but God help me the brain is asleep I want thought 1 1/2 and 2 " with seam allowance added so that would be 1 and 1 1/2 stripes right????? just can not figure stuff out the past few must have froze the brain in this weather...lol PLEASE HELP

It's done with strip sets. Depending on the size of your strips, you can decide how to make whatever size you want. Did you change the width of the strip to 8 inches or stick to the 5 inches in the tutu and the triangles were 8" long at the base?
