well I made a sample block of one of mine, not showing pic :oops: one side line up a little off and then I measured it and it is just under 5 inches!!! thought I checked it out but guess i was still off :evil: now to try again tomorrow :(

BRAVO!!!!

these blocks are over the top spectacular. i bow to your skills, i know both of these blocks are a real challenge.

the red dot with the gold is like an optical illusion how the foreground and background just play against each other.

Klue, question about the DJ cyber sew block party, how many blocks do you think we can get out of a fat 1/4 of the focus fabric. Just trying to plan my fabrics.

a 1/4 of a FQ gets you 2 blocks or 1 block & 1 triangle.

so 1 FQ is either 8 blocks or 4 blocks & 4 triangles.

The blocks are turning out so beautiful! I can imagine the hard work going into these. I wish I knew how to paper piece, but am having fun with the traditional block I'm doing. Even the traditional blocks take a lot of time and precision, wow, what was Jane thinking? An amazing woman for sure!!!
