Here are our girls - both Tuxedo cats. Lucy is almost 10 and Ethel is almost 7. They are not related.

Lucy came to us in the middle of the night in 2001. We had our windows open and she was crying in our yard, waking us up. She was just a few months old and nursing kittens. We suspect her other owners had taken the kittens away and she was out searching for them and got lost. We played with her for a few minutes (at 3AM) and fed her some tuna and figured she'd be gone by morning. She was still there, so we fed her again and went to church. When we came home we were a bit disappointed that she was gone, but when she heard us getting out of the car she came running from out of a flower pot on our front porch. The rest, as they say, is history. Lucy is very laid back, and loves to be held and petted.

Ethel was abandoned at a friend's house along with her littermates. Since she was black & white we took her to save her from the pound. She was only 6 or 7 weeks old, but she acted like a Bengel Tiger. Lucy wanted to mother her, but Ethel would have none of it. She was Miss Independence from the start. She is evil. She doesn't want to be touched or held, and she only tolerates us because we feed her.

They both love quilts and naps, and help us with both.

So funny that you call your kitty Lucy "Satan's Spawn"...lol... I call my furbaby Sammie "The Spawn of Satan" or more affectionately....."The Devil in Kitty Fur"
