    I must sew a whole log cabin block before I can stop. If I stop in the middle, I never get it right when I go back to it. Mixes my mind up.

    First, my apology if this has already been posted...I haven't read all the postings.

    That said...when I make the log cabin block half the block is "lights" and the other half "darks". You are alternating your lights and darks on all sides so you have created a new block in my opinion....

    Thanks for the lesson on Log Cabins...what not to do...and what to do!! LOL I have not made one yet...honestly I find your photos very helpful!! Its nice to see someone else has those less than perfect moments in quilting!!
