No way! If it's done, and I didn't see the mistake, the last thing I want is for someone to point out an unfixable error. I posted a quilt on here recently, and someone pointed out a mistake - which I had missed in all my views of the quilt. Fortunately, it was fixable because I hadn't quilted it yet - and once it was pointed out I couldn't leave it. But if it was already quilted, that would have spoiled my enjoyment of a quilt I loved when I made it. I say bite your tongue, especially if the quilt is past the "easy to fix" stage.

This is the "spinach in your teeth" or Your slip is showing" question with a new twist. NOt nearly as readily remedied but the "right thing to do" is very clear.
I agree. PM me, whisper in my ear, point it out on the board, shout it from the tree tops, I don't care. It's my quilt, my blood sweat and tears, my mistake. It does not detract from the quilt. I still love it just the same. My sister says that it gives the quilt "character".

I had an aunt that used to hand quilt some of my tops. She said she liked working on my quilts because they were always square. She used to like to look for any mistakes I made, and she always pointed them out. It became a game. She's been gone a year now, and I miss her.

So, if anyone sees any mistakes in my quilts, please, point them out, and I can say, "now, how the heck did that happen?" lol
