What if you used the heart in the middle and one on each corner and the circle for the rest.Just an idea

I like the circle better. The heart is a little too close to the edge of the block. If it were slightly smaller, I would alternate them.

WOW!! I was out of town yesterday and am just now reading all your ideas. ..... I always know exactly what I want when a quilt is for me but when it's for someone else, I have a really hard time deciding.

I will be sure to take a picture of it when it's finished. That may take awhile. I'm not super fast at handquilting but I like the looks better than machine quilting although I've done both.

I've had a couple of PMs about my quilt frame. It is a homemade one that I bought at an auction a few years ago. I do love it and my DH says it wouldn't be very hard to make. His uncle made a similar one for his aunt way back in the 60's and I'd done some quilting on hers a few years ago. When I saw this one, I knew it would work well.

I told the people that ask about it that I'd be happy to take some close-up pictures of it and measure the parts if they wanted me to do that. So, let me know if you all would like me to make a thread of that information. There are so many DH that are handy enough to make them. Actually, I think I could do it if the DH would trust me with his power tools. That's another story.

    Thanks again...

I like the idea of using them both but if I have to pick one I have always loved the circle.
