Here are a couple of pictures of the 2 blocks I received from Nancy in Louisiana. Thank you very much, they will look beautiful with the other blocks.

Ok, I have a new theme. It is "Baby Girl" and it will be a charity quilt in honor of my baby girl's 25th birthday.
I will give it to a program for new mothers in need.

I want to do a couple of blocks for you my friend. No swap needed, I want to help with the charity.
Do you need backing fabric or anything.

Here is the lovely block I received from Mike's girl. Thank you so much. It is so pretty

I have done this block. So easy. Have made 1 for my DGS graduating in 2 yrs & will (hopefully) his bro in 3 yrs, then 2 DGDs in future yrs. They all live (right now in China, I pray daily that they'll come back to Texas). So I thought this would be a cute block for their quilts....

My theme is "Ode to 1930's" and I have gotten great blocks over the past months (pictures in my online profile album). I wanted to share with you one I got last week. Sarah wasn't too sure of whether or not her block worked, but it fits perfectly don't you all agree?

P.S. my daughters and my friend's daughters are starting a summer postcard collecting project. This project that will hopefully give them enjoyment all summer long. I am hoping to enlist help from dozens of online friends (or future friends), who would be willing to send a post card or two to the girls; postcards that would represents their state or a future vacation state or site. Are you taking a cruise or vacation this summer can you pick up two postcards and mail them out to them? With your help this summer will be so fun. The excitement of receiving the postcards in the mail will be priceless. Would some of you be willing to help? Let me know and I will send our addresses. Thanks in advance, Christina quiltingmommy.
