I had to think about this one. I collect threads, buttons and totes. I only own 5 working sewing machines but do admire so many of the older models you all have shared on this site. But my worst addiction is salt & pepper shakers. I have over 1,000 sets and of them are antiques and over 100 yrs old. A friend of ours brought us one from east Berlin when the wall came down, some of our smaller sets fit in the palm of my hand. I have clay, stone, shell, plastic, resin, crystal, ceramic, precious metals, wood, and etc... No two sets are alike and from all over the world. I also collect Hallmark ornaments but let's not go there.

scissors, pin cushions, large plastic bins, and half finished projects

However, my largest collection is my dolls. I have well over 500. Antique, new, from all over the world, all different kinds and sizes. Some I have made some given to me, all loved, most stored away for when more of my house is just mine and I can set up displays.

Quilt books and magazines, I still have magazines dating back to 1978! I have a dedicated file on my PC with digital subscriptions, downloaded as well as scanned patterns.

I'm a hoarder. I collect it all, sewing machines (7), scissors (not going to count!) rulers (not going to count) any kind of gadget for quilting, quilting hoops (6), patterns, books, thread now that I've started embroiderying, embroidery designs, fabric for sure, thread on the floor, more fabric (I almost forgot about that!), laughter & good times with quilters.

Magazines and patterns, although I am trying to get more disciplined and scan the magazine articles and patterns that I want to keep and then recycle the magazine (usually by giving it to my sister)
