The worst part is when my husband is within ear shot and can hear me break a needle. He calls out- that's one, that's two... Since we began refurbishing vintage machines he has learned it may sound funy from the other room but it's enough to make you scream.

My machine, rulers and fabric, needles, seam rippers, etc. get lots of abuse! I think log cabin is one of the harder patterns to do. I usually put a frustrating project away and do something else. Sometimes I take it to my bee group for help. Maybe that's why I have so many projects going at the same time...hmmm

Most will say that a new machine needs to be named but I'm here to tell you that all of mine are named SOB! A couple of my machines never got any other name to start with and I have one right now that I'm ready to throw out the window. So, my answer is YES!

I haven't done a log cabin yet but plan to. I hope you can get it done and move on to more fun patterns.
