    I was understanding that if you had experienced shingles the injection is not effective. Check with you doctor.

    The left side of my face and top of head is where I have had them for 2 1/2 years...very painful. I was hospitalized for a week and taken Lierka with no relief. I now use rubbing achohol and cold compacts to take pain away.
