A great way to find vintage fabrics is thrift stores in established/older neighborhoods or areas where there are lots of seniors living. Often older women's sewing rooms are cleaned out after they pass away and their sewing items (including fabric) are donated to the nearest thrift shop.

I think sometimes sellers post prices just to see if anyone is stupid enough to pay that. I've seen things described as "rare" or "unique" and know perfectly well they aren't, and astronomical prices set to catch the unwary buyer.

That piece of "vintage fabric', probably cost$0.25/yard.

I wonder if that's just a typo and should have been $10. $6 for shipping is a bit much though.

I love vintage fabrics but would never pay this much for 2 yards!!!! I will just keep my fabric until it becomes vintage and then have my own vintage stash to choose from. LOL!!

I'm very confused by the description of this fabric. It's supposed to be vintage with yellowing & everything that comes with being OLD yet in her description she says it's NEW, unused, still in package, etc.

As you may have noticed no one bought it at this price and I don't think they will for a while. Some people are always looking to make their big profit from someone else. I'm with you hang on the your stash until it becomes vintage and every one will think your rich because you can afford to quilt with vintage fabric. :D

Saints preserve us!! The sellers on E-Bay have gone nuts!!
Surely they are kidding. There is no 2 yds of fabric made that I would pay $100 for and I'm a complete fabric maniac....
